From one show to another.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by the booth this past weekend at Vancouver's Make It! craft and clothing fair.    It was a fun event with unbelievable response (man was it was packed in there!).  Got lots smiles, laughs and even screams of fear in response to the shirts...it's the screams that make it all worthwhile.

We're now getting geared up for the Portobello West Market on December 4th and 5th (http://www.portobellowest.com/).  Hopefully we'll see you there!

Quality Control Session

ShoccoShirt testers Obscuritee and cheapEgo take "Gas Damask" out into the wild for a little quality control session. The session didn't exactly turn out as expected, but on the bright side, the video speaks for the quality and durability of our tee shirts.

More Chicken Sashimi and More Cozylla

More awesome graphics just keep getting added to this year's line:

Amatron World Champion by Chicken Sashimi is a great throwback to the 80's.  Inspired by our very own robot-arm fueled childhoods, this print always gets looks from those that know.

BLARGHLRRRLABL! by Cozylla is yet another character-based design that has been hiding a sketchbook for years and has now just been uncovered once again.  This little monster would bite your nose off, but in a fun, playful way...

Beetlemania is a desing inspired by Disney's classic 'Herbie' character.  Fans of the movie and Volkswagen beetles will love this classic shirt.

We've got a bunch of shirts from T-shirt designer chicken sashimi/Obscuritee now in our catalog.  Alpine is a snow themed abstract graphic, inpsired by Cypress, Whistler and other surrounding mountains.  Gas Damask is a mashup of contrasting themes.  23 Skidoo is a subtle but clever take on the classic saying.

Here's a little background from Wikipedia about 23 Skidoo, for those interested:

23 skidoo (sometimes 23 skiddoo) is an American slang phrase popularized in the early twentieth century, first appearing before World War I and becoming popular in the Roaring Twenties. It generally refers to leaving quickly, being forced to leave quickly by someone else, or taking advantage of a propitious opportunity to leave, that is, "getting [out] while the getting's good." The exact origin of the phrase is uncertain.

23 skidoo has been described as "perhaps the first truly national fad expression and one of the most popular fad expressions to appear in the U.S," to the extent that "Pennants and arm-bands at shore resorts, parks, and county fairs bore either [23] or the word 'Skiddoo.'"^[1]
